Our story

Wick and I grew up in a suburb of Arlington, TX. Nothing about our upbringing had anything to do with agriculture—nor did our education. Wick aspired to be an orthodontist, and I dreamed of becoming a physical therapist. After years of school and various jobs, we found ourselves yearning for a lifestyle different from what city life had to offer—though Wick came to this realization sooner than I did.

He began learning about the broken monetary system, developed an entrepreneurial spirit, and started building a pool service business. During this time, I was still pursuing my doctorate but felt a deep uneasiness about the life I was working toward. Eventually, I decided to open my mind and heart to what could be if I stepped away from everything I thought I wanted. Together, we found our way into the rabbit hole of the broken food system and discovered how holistic land management could be a solution.

We realized that nothing was more important than loving God, marrying each other, and raising our own food. So, long story short, that’s what we’re doing today.

Wick’s grandfather owned land south of Fort Worth, and we were blessed with the opportunity to begin our farming journey on this land. Two weeks after we got married, we bought a milk cow, and 10 chickens soon followed. Wick continues to grow his business to serve and support us as we learn how to raise animals for our family.

We dream of expanding our farm as our family and community continue to grow. We are overwhelmingly thankful for the support of our family and friends. We can hardly believe that this is our story. All glory to God.

“For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.” Romans 11: 36

Vision

Embody health and freedom while raising animals the way the good Lord intended.

Mission

Become a resilient and profitable farming operation utilizing regenerative agriculture practices and sound money.

Our Farming Framework

We strive to align with regenerative farming practices. Regenerative farming involves farming and ranching in a way that mimics natural ecosystems. By adhering to the five principles of soil health—limited disturbance, soil armor, diversity, living roots, and integrated animals—you can regenerate and increase the organic matter in the soil.

When coupled with the planned management of large ruminant animals grazing, this approach initiates a positive feedback loop that leads to healthier soil, healthier plants, healthier animals, and, ultimately, healthier people.

Why do we want to do this?

In our opinion, the way food is currently produced in the U.S. is simply not sustainable. The reliance on tilling, chemicals, large feedlots, and processing centers leads to degraded soils that, over time, lose their ability to produce crops.

We aspire to be a small part of a larger movement to decentralize food systems and feed local communities through regenerative agriculture.
